With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Bennett of Cowden, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Myron and Ada Mae Bennett (Horath); his son Ernest William Bennett; and his brothers, Homer Horath, Harvey D. Bennett and Myron O. Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bennett of Cowden; his children, Liada Paradee (Scott) of Cowden, Becky Gray of Shelbyville, Heather Wade (Troy) of Shelbyville, Paul Bennett (Kristin) of Shelbyville, Jacob Bennett (Taylor) of Cowden and Arianna Bennett of Shelbyville; his brothers, Thomas C. Bennett, Kenneth H. Bennett and Henry F. Bennett; and his mother-in-law Isabelle Sally Evans. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
