He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sarver and Ethel Sarver. He is survived by: his stepfather Charles Howell; his wife Ella; his sons, Nathan and Joshua; his sister Vicki Connolly (Ed); and his nieces, Kari Connolly and Rana Hoffman (Andy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
