He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jennifer Oppegard (Michael) and Bobby Gabriel (Tania); his grandsons, Michael Jr. and Bobby Jr. Dear; his siblings, James (Barbara), Phyllis McEvilly (late George) and Joyce Weber (late Earl); his parents, Edward Gabriel and Helen Gabriel; and his spouse Lynn.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard Midway Funeral Home (5749 Archer Ave, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A prayer was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
