In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Matthew leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Matthew may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his mother Rita Engels. He is survived by: his father Bill Engels; his wife Danielle (Grill); his children, Lauren, Ben and Patrick; and his siblings, Elizabeth Engels (Craig) and Michael Engels (Marianne). He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbors.

We spent many summers together when the Engles Family would come to Pittsburgh, or Cape May to visit with the Evans Family. I often think about the good times we had as kids.
