He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Constance; his sister Lynn Demontoy (late Jean-Marc); and his mother-in-law Charlotte Middendorf. He is survived by: his wife Joan Middendorf Thoms; his children, Emily and Graham; his son-in-law Kevin; his daughter Rachel Malone (Kevin); his grandchildren, Emmet and Poppy Malone; his siblings, Barbara Thoms, Susan Reed (Greg), Bill Thoms (Sue), Sally Thoms, Peter Thoms, Jamie Thoms (Patty) and Chris Thoms (Ann); and his father-in-law Richard Middendorf. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
