He was predeceased by: his spouse Judith Lee "Judy" Crnkovich; and his siblings, Elizabeth Schweigert and Rosemary Green. He is survived by: his children, Jane Halvorson (Michael), George R. Jr., Michael Kostrzewa (Danielle) and Becky Kostrzewa (John); his grandchildren, Margaret, Caitlyn, Jake, Jessica, Michael "Mickey", Abigail and Emma; his nieces and nephews, Joseph Myrick, Patricia Ann Wojtkowski, Debra Connor and Gary Schweigert; and his sibling Esther Myrick.
