It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafael Hernandez of Country Club Hills, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Julia; his son Ralph Hernandez; and his parents, Eleuterio Hernandez and Virginia Hernandez. He is survived by: his children, Xiomara Hernandez Gross (Albert), Eneida Hernandez, Damaris Constantine (Paul), Jeannette Hernandez (Luis Rivera), Bernice Hernandez and Fernando Hernandez; his grandchildren, Marilyn Grullon (Wascar), Fernando Hernandez (Roy Smith), Osvaldo Hernandez (Holly), Aliza Muhammad (Tadar, Sr.), Xiomara Ilene Loop (Eric), Jonneida Alexis Davis, Natasha Edmond (Mark), Tifany Sisney (Hakeem), Alicia Constantine, Christopher Adrian Arce and Samantha Eileen Arce (Daniel De); and his great grandchildren, Luisa Inez Grullon, Isabela Hernandez, Hunter Adrion Davis, Carter Edmond, Madison Edmond, Riley Edmond, Cayden Sisney, Clarke Sisney, Naomi Sisney, Isaac De La Mora, Amaris De La Mora, Emrys De La Mora, Asiyah Muhammad and Tadar Muhammad, Jr.. He is also survived by 12 brothers and sisters.
