She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur "Peck" Stewart and Wilma Stewart; and her sister-in-law Mary Ruth Stewart. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Stewart and Jane Chapman (Mike); her nieces and nephews, Jeanne Smith (Ken), Tim Stewart, Chris Stewart, Patrick Stewart (Carrie), Jennifer Locum (Jim) and Sara Tanner (Jon); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Paul Stewart (Jessica), Emily Smith, Austin Stewart (Monica), Hayden Locum, Devyn Locum, Grant Tanner (Daisy), Holden Locum, Lily Tanner, Jonah Tanner and Zeke Tanner.
Memorials may be made to the Rita Stewart Memorial Scholarship Fund.
