He was predeceased by: his parents, Bowen Mead and Eva Marie Watts (George); his daughter Beverly Hepp; and his brother William Watts. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Watts of Coulterville, IL; his children, Jason Watts of Coulterville, IL, Steve Helvey of Cahokia, IL, Gina Maschhoff (Matt Heggemeier) of Woodlawn, IL and Terry Cox (Gary) of Leonardtown, MD; his son-in-law Terry Hepp of Campbell Hill, IL; his sister Marilyn Ping (Paul) of Coulterville, IL; and his grandchildren, Chris Bergfield, Brett Cox (Michelle), Kristina Helvey, Damien Hepp, Ryan (Jessica), Olivia (Michael Haselhorst) and Alex Spenner. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
