With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba June Kline of Coulterville, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrie Hood and Clara Hood (Craig); her son Mathew Russell McKinley; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth McKinley; her siblings, Alex Hood, Russell Hood, Mary Hood and Ethel Hood; her parents-in-law, Joycelyn Kasten and Kenneth Kasten; and her sister-in-law Anne Kasten.
She is survived by: her husband Klif Kline of Coulterville, IL; her son Jason P. McKinley of Okawville, IL; her grandchildren, Jacob McKinley (Makayla) of Fort Hood, TX and Anna McKinley of Okawville, IL; her great grandchild Caroline Elizabeth McKinley of Fort Hood, TX; her siblings, Glen Hood of Coulterville, IL, Robert "Buck" Hood of Coulterville, IL, Raymond Hood (Jaci) of Coulterville, IL, Omah Jebron (Bud) of Coulterville, IL, Naomi Bumann of Eden, IL, Helen Harstick of Coulterville, IL, Barbara Rester of Coulterville, Lavon Conley-Hood of St. Libory, IL and Dorothy Harrell of Elkton, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Kasten (Bridget), Bruce Kasten (Valerie) of Lake, Kim Allen Kline of Orlando, FL and Ann Steck of St. Charles, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
