She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis and Margaret Sheeler (O'Neill); her husband William Rex Hurst; her siblings, Charles "Bud" Sheeler, Franklin "Frank" Sheeler, Helen Hood and Marguerite "Marge" Menefee; her nephews, Freddie Miles and Sam Menefee; her great-nephew Wesley Thompson; and her great-niece Jocelyn Calvetti.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia "Cyndee" Hurst of Wildwood, MO and William "Jeff" Hurst (Brenda) of Platte City, MO; her grandchildren, Devin Hurst (Marcia Recks) of Wildwood, MO, Jeremy Hurst (Lindsay Kline-Paul) of San Francisco, CA and Erica Megan Dixon of San Francisco, CA; her great grandchildren, Paiten Gastreich-Hurst of Wildwood, MO and Gwendolyn Goglin of San Francisco, CA; her brother Thomas "Tom" Sheeler (Betty) of Belleville, IL; and her sisters-in-law, Leola Sheeler of Sparta, IL and Anna Marie Sheeler of Coulterville, IL. She is also survived by nine nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Pyatt Funeral Home - Coulterville (204 E Locust St, Coulterville, IL 62237). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
