She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis and Margaret Sheeler (O'Neill); her husband Roger Hood; and her siblings, Franklin "Frank" Sheeler and Marguerite Menefee.

She is survived by: her children, Parley Hood (Deborah) of Coulterville, IL, Trudy Calvetti (John) of Coulterville, IL and Tonya Thompson (David) of Oakdale, IL; her grandchildren, Aaron Hood (Erin), John Calvetti (Virginia), Wesley Thompson (Alexis Siltman), Daralynn Gross (Robert), Jocelyn Calvetti, Mitchell Thompson, Jesse Hood (Dawn) and Andrew Calvetti (Germaine); her great grandchildren, Tre Calvetti, Zacary Calvetti, Jerica Cruise, Joseph Cruise, Chance Cruise, Giuseppe Calvetti, Stella Calvetti, Sydney Hood, Jenna Hood, Owen Gross, Jacoby Gross, Lydia Hood, Kiera Hood and Trinity Hood; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Sheeler (Anna Marie) of Coulterville, IL, Tom Sheeler (Betty) of Belleville, IL and Joan Hurst of Coulterville, IL..
