He is survived by: his former wife Patricia "Pat" Hendrickson; his wife Patricia Hood of Coulterville, IL; his children, Douglas Hood of Coulterville, IL, Dennis Hood (Kim) of Coulterville, IL and Megan Hood of Thompsonville, IL; his siblings, Glen Hood of Coulterville, IL, Robert "Buck" Hood of Coulterville, IL, Raymond Hood (Jaci) of Coulterville, IL, Omah Jebron (Bud) of Coulterville, IL, Naomi Bumann of Eden, IL, Helen Harstick of Coulterville, IL, Barbara Rester of Coulterville, IL, June Kline (Klif) of Coulterville, IL, Lavon Conley-Hood of St. Libory, IL and Dorothy Harrell of Elkton, IL; and his grandchildren, Lindy Odum (Justin) of O'fallon, IL, Christy Hood of Shiloh, IL and Dustin Hood of Coulterville, IL. He is also survived by several Nieces, nephews, and cousins.
