He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Malott and Bessie V. Malott (Arnett); and his siblings, Ewart Malott, Jerry Malott, Jackie Malott, Kenneth Malott, George Malott and Dolores Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Malott (Tiffany) of Pinckneyville, IL, Gina Maxedon of Pinckneyville, Jack Malott (Ashley) of St. Libory, IL, Rachelle Ritchason (James) of Marissa, IL, Charlie Brizzee of Fruitland and Jenny Smith (Jeff) of Coulterville, IL; his brother Jim Malott (Amy) of Tilden, IL; and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Morgan (Jade), Melissa, Justin, Jeremy, Gunner, Emily, Katelynn and Gemma. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
