He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Knope and Frances Knope (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Knope of Coulterville, IL; his daughter Dawn Renee Smith (Chris) of Herrin, IL; his siblings, Alvin "Bud" Knope (Delores) of Coulterville, IL, Joyce Miles (George) of Coulterville, IL and Darlene Ogilvie (Danny) of Coulterville, IL; his sister-in-law Kimberly Maricle of Oaklawn, IL; and his grandsons, Devon Lohman (Stephanie) of Portage, IN and Erik Smith of Herrin, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
