He was predeceased by: his father Orville M. Harstick; and his brothers, Michael Harstick and James Harstick. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Evelyn Harstick (Wylie) of Coulterville, IL; his wife Helen Harstick of Coulterville, IL; his sons, Kent Rettinger of Coulterville, IL and Keith Rettinger of Coulterville, IL; his siblings, Lawrence Harstick (Karen) of New Baden, IL, Carole Bellflower of Mt. Vernon, IL, Christine Nicholson of Olive Branch, MS and Mariella Harstick of Belleville, IL; his grandchildren, Lacy Rettinger, Jon Rettinger and Ashley Davis; his niece Sara Jebron; and his nephew Denny Hood. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J. B. Pritzker, attendance will be limited and social distancing will be enforced.
