It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clifton Lingle of Coulterville, Illinois, born in Olive Branch, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lee and Thelma Mae Lingle (Bouie); his former wives, Betty Lou Casey and Betty Lingle; his brothers, Cecil Lingle, Lester Lingle, Ralph Lingle and Wilbur Lingle; and his grandson Chris B. Oliver.
He is survived by: his spouse Lacene Frieman; his children, Martin E. Lingle (Kim) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Diana Lynn Oliver (Relis) of Cobden, IL; his stepson John Hlavaty (Karen) of Coulterville; and his grandchildren, Hope McFarland (Daniel) of Jonesboro, IL, Jason K. Oliver (Molly) of Dongola, IL, Penny Stevens (Greg) of Bloomfield, MO, Clifton Lingle of Bristow, VA, Shaun Hlavaty (Christina) of Sparta, IL, Blake Freytag (Veronica) of Bilton, TX and Joshua Freytag (Catherine) of Marissa, IL. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
