He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Sheeler; his daughter Mary Beth Maes (Philip) of Chester, IL; his grandchildren, Bryce Williams (Samantha) of Carbondale, IL, Katie Phelps of Columbia, IL and Maggee Phelps of Coulterville, IL; his siblings, Tom Sheeler (Betty) of Belleville, IL and Joan Hurst of Coulterville, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Leola Sheeler of Sparta, IL, Lucy and Chucky.
