He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vernon and Bessie Dean (Williams); and his siblings, Millie Rodgers, Leroy Dean, Ruby Whitmore and Eldridge Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Dean of Coulterville, IL; his daughters, Jennifer Knox of Wilmington, DE and Joan Dean of Wilmington, DE; his grandsons, Noah and Wyatt Knox of Wilmington, DE; his stepchildren, Duane Conway (Sharon) of Pinckneyville, IL, Greg Conway (Amy) of Pinckneyville, IL and Cheryl Oettle (Terry) of Tamaroa, IL; his stepgrandchildren, Jayce Conway (Angie), Brandon Conway (Aimee), Nicholas Pelker, Brady, Brendan, Zane and Zoey Conway; his brother Clifford Dean of Freeburg, IL; his sister-in-law Myrtle Dean of Charleston, SC; and his friend Bill Stolte of Tilden, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
