It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Knope of Coulterville, Illinois, born in Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Knope and Frances Knope (Reed); and his brother Floyd Dean Knope. He is survived by: his wife Delores Knope of Coulterville, IL; his sons, Kenny Knope of Coulterville, IL and Tracy Knope (Stephanie) of Coulterville, IL; his sisters, Joyce Miles of Coulterville, IL and Darlene Ogilvie of Coulterville, IL; his sister-in-law Debbie Knope; his grandchildren, Mackenzi Knope (Mike Stephens), Conner Knope (Kelli), Abbey Wright (Jordan), Blaine Knope and Drew Knope (Sydney Gordon); his great grandchildren, Spencer, Emily, Emmett, Aubrey and Cara; his cousin Neal Hirte; and his close friend Roger Geralds. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other cousins.
