With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernice B. Pickett of Cottage Hills, Illinois, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Albert and Clara Bell Baker (Stevens); her former husband Harold "Bud" Pickett; and her son Ricky Pickett. She is survived by: her husband George V. Bland; and her son Bruce Pickett (Karen) of Cottage Hills, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to a charity of one's choice.
