With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Benton (Cottage Hills, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin L. Irvin and Marjorie A. Irvin (Hastings); her husband Harold Ray Benton, Sr.; her daughter Sheila Marjorie; her granddaughter Jennifer Benton; and her son-in-law Mike Cooper.

She is survived by: her brother Jimmy Irvin of Albuquerque; her nieces and nephews, Pam of Albuquerque, Lilly of Albuquerque, James of Albuquerque and Charles of Albuquerque; her daughters, Theresa "Terri" Cravens (Pete) of Cottage Hills, Cindy Benton of Hartford and Sherri Benton of Godfrey; her grandchildren, Joey Benton of Alton, Mike (Lindsey Anderson), Ashley (Danny Allen), Jimmy Benton (Lyndsey Kelso) and Bradley (Haleigh Brewer); and her great grandchildren, Connor, Alaina Anderson, Kaleb Benton, William Sproull, Camille, Gunner Allen and Landen Benton.
