With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sebastian Dean McGiffen of Cortland, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 31. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dean and Christy Ann McGiffen (Holloway). He is survived by: his children, Sebastian McGiffen Jr. and Skyler McGiffen of Courtland; his siblings, Stephanie Vail of Gillespie, IL, Samantha Zurek (Nick) of Evergreen, CO, Billy McGiffen of Alton, IL and Chelsea McGiffen of Granite City, IL; and his grandmother Patricia Dickerson of Alton, IL. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made towards a trust fund for his son, Sebastian and Skyler.
