She was predeceased by: her mother Katherine Buyalski (Karlik); her husband Elmer "Lefty" Carr; her sons, Gary Carr and Gail Carr; her siblings, Dorothy Dombrowski (Ted) and Edward Buyalski (Lillian); and her father Basil Buyalski.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Carr Scidmore (Chuck) of Cortland; her daughters-in-law, Carol Anderson of Kankakee and Janet Carr of Norwalk, IA; and her grandchildren, Chas Scidmore of Chicago, Michael Scidmore of San Diego, CA, Joe Carr of St. Charles, Jeremy Carr of Norwalk, IA, Kelly Scidmore-Sievers (Dan) of Byron and Sarah Smith (Adam) of Norwalk, IA. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Mildred K. Carr Memorial Fund, addressed to the Carr Family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
