It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Matthys of Cortland, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Jones and Pearline Jones (Mills); her close friend Elizabeth Morgan; her daughters, Laura Mahon (Sean), Sandra Matthys and Angie Ferguson (Bryan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Matthys (Jon Bowman), Jacky Rittgarn (Erik), Jace Pesina, Clayton Ferguson and Miley Ferguson; her great grandchild Pearletta Bowman; and her siblings, Velda Dodd, Donald Jones, Rick Jones and Becky Pate.
