With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willard E. Somers Jr. of Cordova, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Everett Somers and Eva Somers (Van Brunt); his son Willard Everett Somers III; and his brother Stephen Somers. He is survived by: his wife Karen Walters; his friend John Haan; his sons, James Dean Somers of Clinton, IA and Ty Somers of Davenport, IA; his grandson Ryan Walker; his close friend Denise Michaels of New Windsor, IL; his granddaughter Gracie Haan; his close friends, Dean, Candy Moyer, Amy Haan and Delmar Moyer; and also Danielle Mundell.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
