It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Coppes of Cordova, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy E. Davis and La Vella M. Smith Davis; her brothers, Robert and Richard "Dick" Davis; and her stepsister Darlene Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Hills (Julie) of Trinidad, Yancy Hills (Kara) of Omaha and Dana Johnson (Bill) of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Austin Hills (Tiffany), Hannah and Hayden Johnson; her great grandchild Katana Hills; her fiancé Jim Moffitt of Cordova, Illinois; her brother Gary Davis; and her stepsiblings, Larrell Ferguson, Cathie Ferguson-Gwyn and Marlene Comins.
