He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Shackelford and Etta Shackelford (Ossman); his wife Ruth Glass; and his brother Forest. He is survived by: his daughters, Connie (Jim Stratton) and Pamela (Terry Barber); his close friend Eleanor Nelson; and his pets, Junior and Mamie. He is also survived by her family; 3 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; his first great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cordova, or the Cordova American Legion.
