Patsy J. Fidlar Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 79, Patsy J. Fidlar of Cordova, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patsy J. Fidlar to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claus Bruse and Polly Bruse (Fenner); her husband Chuck; her brothers, Cecil, Larry and Jerry Bruse; and her in-laws, Lee Downey, Louie Wiklund and Jim Fidlar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rev. Stacie Fidlar and Leah Houston (Todd); her grandchildren, Kylie, Laurel, Padraic and Bella Houston; her siblings, Linda Robbins (Leon), Debbie Crecelius (Stevie) and Roger Bruse (Debbie); and her in-laws, Leslie Bruse, Bev Bruse, Carol Bruse, Verna Downey, Lynn Fidlar, Joanne Wiklund and David Fidlar.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (302 11th St, Port Byron, IL 61275).
Memorials may be made to the Food Pantry at Messiah Lutheran Church; Ramp Builders of the Illinois Valley; or the Riverdale Education Foundation.
