With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin L. Misfeldt of Cordova, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Misfeldt and Hazel Bell Misfeldt (Clark); his wife Florence Johnson; and his brothers, Leland, Harvey, Les and Fredrick Misfeldt.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. Larry Misfeldt of Port Byron, Mark Misfeldt (Connie) of Port Byron and Lori Ortiz (Dennis) of Port Byron; his close friend Janice Falk; his grandchildren, T. J. Misfeldt (Alexis), Tara VanDeVoorde (Jake), Tricia DeMarlie (Mike), Chelsea Ortiz and Austin Ortiz; his great grandchildren, Nora, Liberty, Ali, Kaylee, Cooper, Griffin and Ivy; his brother Wayne Misfeldt (Lois) of Geneseo, IL; and his brother-in-law Elmer Johnson of Versailles, KY..
