It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie Vaughn of Cordova, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Nichols and Lola Nichols (Alvin); her husband Edward James Vaughn, Jr.; and her siblings, Michael, Everett Lee, Ralph Nichols, Frances Licht and Elizabeth Pappas.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Vaughn of Cordova and William "Bill" Vaughn (Cheryl) of Cordova; her siblings, Patricia Hubbard, Connie Nichols and Lonnie Nichols, Sr.; her grandsons, Matthew Vaughn (Ruby), William Jr., Michael and Nicholas Vaughn; and her great grandchildren, James and Carson Vaughn.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275).
