He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schipper and Jennie Schipper (Bielema); his son Jim Schipper; and his brothers, Vernon and Leroy Schipper.
He is survived by: his former wife Donna Juist; his wife Eileen Yarbrough; his daughter Sue Rezin (Keith) of Morris, IL; and his stepsons, Jamey Vermeire of Hillsdale, IL and Jason Vermeire of Port Byron, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established by the family.
