She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Rasmussen and Lavina Rasmussen (Murphy); her husband Cecil Locey; her son Michael Zuidema; and her brother James Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her former husband David Zuidema; her children, Jennifer Hatfield (James), Kevin Zuidema, Curtis Locey (Jennifer) and Bettendorf; her stepchildren, Dory Locey of Clinton and Montel Locey of Clinton; her sister-in-law Marilyn Rasmussen; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schroeder (Nicole), Sabrina Gifford, Shauna Hansen (Jason), Samantha Ketelsen (Andy), Jesse Zuidema, Katelyn Berman (Micah), Jacob Hatfield (Alyssa), Mackenzie Lloyd (James) and Alex Locey. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
