He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Staken and Constance Staken (Navurskis); his wife Sue; his brothers, James Staken and Richard Staken; and his niece Patty.
He is survived by: his former wife Suzanne Georgean; his children, Nick Staken (Barbara) of Port Byron, IL, Laura Shields (Scott) of San Jose, CA and Andria Smith of Rapids City, IL; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha (Mike), Andrew, Alex (Katee), Jason, Jeffrey, Nick, Suzanna, Isabella and Aiden. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
