It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward James Vaughn Jr. of Cordova, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Vaughn and Mable Vaughn (Slininger); and his brother Lawrence Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Nichols; his children, William "Bill" Vaughn (Cheryl) and Tammy Vaughn; his sister Mary Louise McCarthy; his grandsons, Matthew Vaughn (Ruby), William Jr., Michael and Nicholas Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, James and Carson Vaughn.
