Austin J.L. McCool Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Austin J. L. McCool of Cordova, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Orville and Pearl Johnson; and his uncle Brian Christopher Paul McCool. He is survived by: his parents, Ken McCool and Sandy McCool (Johnson); his children, Aria McCool and Anakin McCool; his fiancée Jessica Sterling; his grandparents, Arlan and Sharon McCool; his siblings, Amber Rigg (Ian) of Albert Lee, MN and Aaron McCool; and his nephews, Hunter, Xaden and Sevrus Rigg. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund to be established for his children.
