She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leroy Birdsell and Mary Louise Rawlings Birdsell; her husband Larry A. Maxwell; her children, Larry A. Maxwell, Jr. (Sheri) of Plant City, FL, Michael Maxwell of Concord, Teresa Watson of Jacksonville, Tammy Maxwell (Ed Cannon) of Jacksonville and Mary Maxwell of Concord; and her siblings, Bob Birdsell (Connie) of Pekin, Bill Birdsell of Pekin, Mick Birdsell (Teresa) of Pekin, Judy Anderson of Hannibal, MO and Bonnie Swan of Peoria. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
