He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Charles and Edith Alma Brockhouse Taylor; his son-in-law Pat Almandinger; and his brothers, William Taylor (Lois) and Clyde Taylor (Louella).

He is survived by: his wife Noreen Flynn; his children, Michelle Almandinger of Muscatine, IA and Gregory Taylor (Melinda) of Arcola; and his grandsons, Zachary Munson (Alyssa) and Jacob Munson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Chapin Volunteer Fire Department or Arenzville Fire and Rescue.
