Alan Schammel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2024, at the age of 78, Alan Schammel of Compton, Illinois, born in Mendota, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schammel and Ethel Schammel (Kleckner); his sister Dorothy Prewitt; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Schammel and Delbert Weber.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Schammel; his children, Shelley Schammel (John Riley), Adam Schammel (Keisha) and Samantha Peterson (Garrett); his grandchildren, Cody Bisgrove, Seth Peterson and Trytten Gamble (Patricia); his great grandchild Stetsen Gamble; and his siblings, Howard Schammel, Doug Schammel (Karen), Eileen Weber and Sue Brown (Dave).
