With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Geringer of Columbia, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Bennett; her son Tommy Buckley; her friend Wayne Geringer; her father Fred (Lillian); and her siblings, Fred Hosna and Rose Witt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Kennedy (Keith) and Lynn Agnew (Dennis); her siblings, Joe Hosna and Joann Cawvey; and her grandchildren, Andrea Yochum, Anthony Martin (Danielle) and Jimmy Kennedy (Lindsey). She is also survived by great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
