With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Schaefer of Columbia, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Schaefer and Doris Schaefer; and his brother-in-law Mark Wylan. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schaefer; his daughter Tricia Schaefer; his siblings, James Schaefer (Catherine), John Schaefer (Elizabeth), Richard Schaefer (Denise), Michael Schaefer (Polhaus), Mary Ann Wylan and Daniel Schaefer; and his aunt Gladys Marvel (Howard). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298).
