With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melba Schnellbecher (Columbia, Illinois), born in Millstadt, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Schnellbecher; her granddaughter Aspen Schnellbecher; her parents, Walter and Mathilda; and her siblings, Lester Gruenewald, Alice Harfmann and Shirley Mueller.
She is survived by: her son Ralph Schnellbecher; and her granddaughter Hannah Schnellbecher (Thomas Huber). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Paul United Church of Christ in Floraville, IL.
