He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ahrens and Alice Ahrens; and his brother Randy Ahrens. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Ahrens; his children, Andy Ahrens (Bonnie), Vicki Rednour (Slugger) and Kristine Voelker (Chris); his grandchildren, Ashely Reno (Mike), Marly Ahrens, Jolie Ahrens, Kyle Kipping, Chelsey Kipping, Markee Voelker and Ripken Voelker; his siblings, Katy Yarbrough and Dwight Ahrens (Cheryl); and his pet Rockie. He is also survived by sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews and nieces.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to the Valmeyer Area Jaycees.
