He is survived by: his wife Judy Rafferty; his children, Christine Verstegen (Dale), Therese McKenzie, James III Rafferty (Mary Ann), Ann Bollone, Mike Rafferty (Linda) and Mary Gerstein (Bob); his stepchildren, Christopher Morrison and Jennifer Mitchell; his grandchildren, Catie, Malcheski, Ryan James McKenzie, Rachel, Santiago, Aaron Schut, Jackson Gerstein, Alana Bollone, Nicholas Bollone, James Francis Rafferty IV and Brian Rafferty; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandra Morrison, Colin Morrison, Margaret Mitchell and Jack Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Adalind, Athena, Arthur Santiago, Emilia Irene Malcheski, Braden and Aubrey Rafferty; and his siblings, Richard Rafferty, Martin Eugene Rafferty and Martha Jane Rafferty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
