In loving memory of Don Pennington of Columbia, Illinois, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who departed this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his father Roscoe (Edith); his parents-in-law, Henry and Wanda Kemp; his sisters, Shirley Spurgeon and Billie Grogan; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Ramey and Ivan Linhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Fern S. Pennington; his children, Ricky Mitchell of Key West, FL., Shirelle Zimmerman (Dan) of Columbia, IL., Jason Pennington (Nicole) of Columbia, IL. and Jennifer Andrews of Murray, KY; his sister Juanita Linhardt of Bowling Green, KY; and his grandchildren, Heather Strayhorn (Matt), Josh Douglas, Jake Douglas, Madison Pennington, Taylor Parks, Tyler Andrews and Kaydenn Pennington. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236).
