Anna Josephine McGinnis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020, at the age of 95, Anna Josephine McGinnis (Columbia, Illinois), born in Batesville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McGinnis (Bob); her sons, Tim and Kevin; her parents, Monroe Flinn and Rue Flinn (Hanks); and her siblings, Monroe, Dale, Robert Flinn, Yvonne Bognar, Ellen Woodland and Evie Brogan.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Champion (Don) of Sarasota, Florida, Dan McGinnis of Mascoutah, Illinois, Colleen Murphy (Tim) of Centennial, Colorado and Rob McGinnis of East Carondolet, Illinois; and her daughter-in-law Mary McGinnis of Millstadt, Illinois. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great- great-granddaughter.
Due to COVID restrictions, masks are required, and social distancing is encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Community Interfaith Food Bank to assist families struggling during the upcoming holiday season.
