It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern Serres (Colona, Illinois), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Serres and Gwynievere Serres (Havener); his nephew Mark; and his brother-in-law Terry Guyton. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca J. Branham; his children, Burt Serres (Deb), Matthew Serres (Amber) and Eric Serres; and his sister Melody Guyton of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mailed to the family or the funeral home, which will be forwarded to the family.
