It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald G. Grimes of Colona, Illinois, born in Saint Joseph, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grimes and Cora Etta Grimes (Corzette); and his siblings, Carl, John Jr., Ruth, Donoho and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean (Hull); and his sisters, Wanda Newton and Maxine Cobb. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ronald G. Grimes Memorial Fund, to be distributed amongst local charities.
