With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roma Cooper of Colona, Illinois, who passed away on November 9, 2020 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roma Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Golden and Dorris Coon Golden; her spouse Dale Cooper August; her son Stephen; and her siblings, Rosalea, Bonnie and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Schmooke (Steve) and David Cooper (Eileen); her grandchildren, Jamie Cook (Tim), Jena Schmooke (Cody Combs), Jason Schmooke (Heather), Eric Cooper (Shaun) and Melissa Buttner; her great grandchildren, Owen, Cole Schmooke, Nathaniel Cooper and Violet Combs; and her brother Jerry Golden (Tita).
Due to Covid-19 services will be private and live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks will be required.
Memorials may be made to Crosstown Baptist Church.
