He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmers Wharton and Agnes Irene Beard (Peterson); and his wife Diana Lynn Neal. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Barber (Doug), Davenport, Alan Beard (Jennifer), Amy Bancroft (Ken) and Colona; his grandchildren, Amber Nolin, Crystal Davis, Nicole Davis, Paige Barber, Gavin Barber and Matthew Beard (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Brendan and Jalynn; his siblings, Pat Frenell (Gary), Diane Neihaus, Moline, Margo Rankin (Greg) and Brian Beard (Laurie); and also Many.
